To graduate from Cadillac High School, students must successfully complete 27.5 credits including the following:
4 Credits Mathematics (1 credit Algebra I, 1 credit Geometry, 1 credit Algebra II, 1 credit of Math in final year of high school)
4 Credits English Language Arts (English 9, English 10, English 11, English 12)
3 Credits Science (1 credit Biology, 1 credit Physics,Chemistry, Anatomy, or CTC AgriScience & 1 additional credit of Science)
3 Credits Social Studies (0.5 credit Civics, 0.5 credit Economics or Personal Finance, 1 credit US History and Geography, 1 credit World History and Geography) (One credit of Social Studies may be replaced by 1 credit of CTC excluding Civics)
1 Credit Physical Education and Health
1 Credit Visual, Performing and Applied Arts
Online learning experience (a course, learning or integrated experience)
2 Credits World Languages (Starting with the class of 2016) One credit may be replaced by 1 credit of CTC
All students must be enrolled in the equivalent of five (5) classes each term.
In order to graduate, a student must complete the SAT, Work Keys, and M-STEP state-required assessments.
The drop and add period is the first ten (10) school days of each term. A student may drop or add a class without penalty during the first five (5) days. During the second five (5) days, a student may drop or add without penalty with teacher recommendation only.
