Curriculum Philosophy and Belief Statements

We believe it is the role of the curriculum office to provide leadership and support in the ongoing development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and assessment with the aim of improving student learning for the whole child. 

Belief Statements:

  • Student learning hinges on consistent employment of best practice teaching strategies and 21st century learning skills.
  • Collaboration and professional teams build a healthy educational environment where all stakeholders learn and grow.
  • All decisions should be made based on meaningful data and in the best interest of the whole child.
  • All stakeholders should have access to a written and delivered K-12 curriculum that engages, supports and challenges student.
