CONNECTIONS 2008 -- May 19th,
2008 from 6:00-8:30 pm at
Cadillac Junior High School -- A Showcase of students’ work from
throughout the 2007-2008 school year from Cadillac High School, Cadillac
Junior High, and Cooley High School. There will be: Displays, Galleries
and Live Performances. Classes participating include: Art, Band, Choir,
Economics, Health, Living Skills, Math, Spanish, Orchestra, Physical
Education, Wood Shop, Science, Special Needs, and English, German and
French.
A Representative from Yoplait
presented a $12,000 check to Superintendent of Cadillac Area Public
Schools, Paul Liabenow and Principals from Forest View, Franklin and
Lincoln Elementary Schools. The Grant, provided by Yoplait, is to support
“wellness” programs at the aforementioned Elementary Schools. The check
presentation was at Forest View Elementary School on Tuesday, April 29,
2008.
