Animals, Animals, Animals!
A 4th GRADE WEBQUEST
Our town has decided to build a new zoo for everyone to visit! There are too many animals in the world to include them all. You have been asked to be part of a committee to decide which animals should be included in the new zoo.
Choose an animal that you think everyone would like to see and prepare a presentation to convince the committee to include a habitat for your animal in the new zoo.
Complete your Animal Note Sheet
Write a one page report about your animal.
Make a map showing where your animal can be found in its natural habitat.
Make a menu for your animal
Draw a picture of your animal
Make a diorama showing your animal in its natural environment. (Remember, dioramas are 3-dimensional and should have something in the background and foreground. )
Design 3 slides for our class Power Point Presentation about your animal.
Slide 1 - Introduce animal and show picture
Slide 2 - Describe the animal's environment and tell where it can be found in the world.
Slide 3 - Tell at least 3 interesting facts about your animal that make it unique.
Use colors and graphics that "go with" your animal.
DISPLAY ALL OF THE ABOVE MATERIALS ON A TRI-FOLD DISPLAY BOARD.
