4th - 5th Grade Science/Technology WebQuest

A biome is a major geographical region, consisting of plants and animals that
are adapted to the region's weather and climate. In this WebQuest students
will learn about:
Desert, Grassland,
Rainforest, Taiga, Temperate Forest, and Tundra.
Your task is to research each of the biomes listed above. Find information about the climate, vegetation, animal life, geographic location, and major landforms. Use the web sources listed below to find information about each biome. Fill in the Biome Worksheet to record your data.
Make a brochure (using the word processor) to teach others about your biome.
Include:
the name of your biome
where the biome is located
climate
major animals
vegetation (natural and cultivated)
major landforms
