I'm Trapped in the Boogeyman's Cave!!

This Choose Your Own Adventure was collaboratively written by students in our class. Read each page then choose where you want the story to go next. There are lots of endings so read it over and over!

One day you are walking in the woods and you see a pile of rocks. As

you get closer a couple of rocks start to shake. You take a rock and a door

forms. You open the door and crawl inside. All you see are cobwebs,

spiders and chains all over the place. BOOM, all the rocks caved in and

now you are trapped inside. You see two tunnels one going left and one

going right.

You find a dark cloud. You hear screeching then you turn around.

Bats are flying towards the cloud. You are terribly afraid of bats

because you have been to the hospital. You try to turn around, but

there is an even bigger cloud of bats. They close in on you, you start

to faint. You tell yourself not to faint. Everything gets dizzy. So

dizzy everything blurs. You faint. 30 minutes later you wake up and

the bats seem to be gone. You see a cave hole. You dunk in to it. It

is so dark that you want a flashlight but you don't. You check

anyway, you find one. so you jump out of the hole. In addition, you

turn on your flashlight and keep on walking.

You are walking through a dark damp tunnel then you round a smooth rocky corner. A warm blast of air sends shivers up your back. You see in front of you a huge nasty tangle of sticks, fur, and bones. To you it looks like a huge bird's nest. As you climb up into it you get stabbed by one of the sharp sticks. You finally fall into the nest and you realize it is pretty soft. You can pick out animals all around. You look up and there is a tunnel ahead of you.

You find the Boogeyman sitting down in a big smoky room. On a rock chair and table made of rocks. There is a giant rock with thousands of bats sleeping on it. He looks like a fat lump with a grape with red hair and black eyes for a head. He is the biggest living thing you’ve ever seen. He is eating worms with a half eaten deer on top of it. He is knocking lamps and silverware everywhere and lots of other kinds of foods are falling of the table like a pig and other kinds of bugs. You can’t tell what he is drinking but it’s in a weird fancy glass with a picture of the boogeyman all around it. He is a very messy eater and he is eating very fast.

You start running away your scared that he’ll catch you. Your heart and your feet are pounding like a herd of elephants. You think why you had to push away the rocks and go into the cave. You keep on running then you trip you hear something it was like a bulldozers horn. You get back up you don’t now where your going its so dark you cant hear or see any thing now. Suddenly you get dizzy your head is starting to hurt your eyes are starting to water you see nothing but colors now. There all going around your head you have no idea how to get out of here you think about your family and friends you think of all the good awesome times you had with them and you wish you never argued with them. You wish you found someone else. Then you find a door. You start to say I’m out of here! I’m out of here! You are so close to the door. Then you look, there’s the door. Its metal with a window you try looking in the window but its to foggy all you can see is gold color. You open the door slowly then your eyes are wide. You see ….

Feeling the thick goop on your skin you know you’re going to die, so you scream. Suddenly you wake up! Laughing that it was a dream you go back to sleep. But then you hear something under your bed! Scared you slowly peek under your bed. Seeing black beady eyes you run toward your parents room. For that night you sleep with them.

When you are pulled in he lets go of you and you try to swim away. You look up and you see him circling the surface. Then you see a glimmer down in the water, you swim towards it, and you see it's a door. You pull to open the door but, it doesn't move, you try again and the door opens. You are sucked in and you realize you're back outside on the trail.

You fall down in a hole you scrape your knee. You can barley stand up straight. You see a light you start crawling towards it and when you see what it is the end of the cave. It’s the exit out of the boogeyman’s cave. You go about a half a mile to go. You stay alert. Just incase you see the boogeyman. You see a shadow, you start going faster, you see what it is. It’s a rat. Now you are two yards away from the end. You are out. You’re so happy!

When you are running down the tunnel the whole time the Boogeyman is chasing you. You look back and he was getting closer and closer then you looked forward and you saw a dead end. When you were at the dead end you had to think of how you could get though the dead end. After you were done thinking you remembered that you found a bucket of tools. In the bucket of tools that you found was a hammer, scewdriver, pickaxe, and a wrench you decided to use a pickaxe. You started using the tools to make the come down you hit the wall and a huge chunk of rock came off the wall and you could see the sun light outside you hit the wall one more time and the wall came down and you looked back and the Boogeyman was on the ground sleeping so you walked out and ran home.

Boogey man sees you so you start running through the cave to find a room to hide in. On the way you see spiders, snakes, cockroaches, skulls. Then you finally find a room to hide in. You try to catch your breath but once you turn on the light you see people that were locked in a cage that was made up of old drain pipes and steel. You go up to it and try to get them out but it is no use. You can’t find anything .

You are just walking along the side of the lake and something grabs your leg. What is it? You don’t know because you can’t see the rest of its body. You think to yourself it must be a Boogeyman. His arm grabs your leg. The arm looks like some green plum hairy thing, maybe a ball of fur, but you don’t know

As you follow the trail of slime you see what looks like an underground lake ahead. This lake doesn’t look like any lake you’ve ever seen before though! It is green and gooey, it’s a slime lake! Yuck! Instead of splashing the goo jiggles and shakes and glows. It also has a strange smell. Around the edge of the lake there is a crusty beach of dried slime. As you look at this slime lake with amazement you notice that there is something moving in the middle. It is a strange looking creature….large, green and has red hair. IT IS THE BOOGEYMAN!

You find a room full of treasure and lots of lost things. You are excited! You see so much gold and silver you wonder how it got here .You see some toys and you see one little toy that looks familiar. You glance at it one more time and you think to yourself “that’s my old toy I lost two years ago”. You wonder why its here. You say to yourself, “look at all this stuff.”

You run and run the Boogeyman is only maybe a inch away of you! Your hart is betting so hard. You want to stop. But you can’t. so you go a little bit slower. You already ran 3-5miles! You can smell it get stinker and sinker! Bats are everywhere but you don’t stop. So you are finally rest because you jagged so you run faster. You ran a little slower an after 7 more miles. You thinking about your family. You start to cry because you miss. You want to be home playing with your dog. But your stuck running from the boogieman. So you looked to the side and you see scary faces. You miss your friends. You think of math tomorrow. you yell math is better. Finally you see a…

You see a light down the tunnel so you follow it on the way to the light you see lots of spider webs and bones and then the light starts getting closer you look in it. You go in to it and looked around you find a glass case full with tools and supplies you look around to try to find the key to unlock the case door. You find some cupboards you look in one and you find slime, staples, and a key. You take the key and open the case. You find a hammer a drill and a slug hammer. You find a wheelbarrow and take off.

You see this light and you follow it. You see rats, bones, and other dead creatures. You keep on walking and walking. It seems like it will never end. Then you hear creaking. You run after it. You end up in a maze. You go right, left, left, right, right, and left. OOPS! you take a wrong turn and you head back through the way you came. You don't believe that you went through all that in the beginning. You see another cave. There is slime on the ceiling. You start to panic. You run and crash into a wall and you keep on running.

          You decide to go left. You start to get nervous. The tunnel is very dark and filled with rats, bones, bats, cobwebs and spiders. After a time of walking you start to think that the tunnel will never end. Right then it all changes you can barely see it but it was there.

You are looking at a slimy cave with ooze dripping from the top. You panic

you think your dreaming so you try to wake up it doesn’t work. So you feel

like running though it. You are so nervous that you feel like screaming. So

you look around make sure its safe you look up you see sharp fang like

rocks. You hear run noises you try to see what it was but you can’t see its

to dark you check to see if you have your flash light you don’t then you feel

wind next to you. You try running out of the cave but the fang like rocks are

going to fall. You keep on walking.

You are walking down the tunnel. You see something glowing on the ground. You go up and find that it is green slime. So, you follow it. You are walking for what seems like hours. It looks like a room , so you start running and you come to the opening.

You follow the bats for a long, long time and come to a room full of kid’s toys. You move along and look up and see skeleton upon skeleton on the wall and floor. Seeing the exit, you run and accidentally hit one of the skeletons. Out of the blue the door starts to shut so you run faster! Then you hear some thing behind you! The skeletons are a live! And coming toward you. Scared, you start to run but the door shuts. Seeing a window you jump for it. Barely making it, you grab the windowsill and pull yourself up and out.

Walking through a tunnel. You saw a shadowy figure. You start to run as fast as you can. You have to stop because your heart is pounding. You lose sight of what ever you you’re chasing. So, you just start walking.

You are running for your life through the twisting and winding tunnels. You slip and fall. You land in a pond of slim. You get up and run around the pond. You see a fork in the tunnel, you go to the left. The tunnel is slimy and cold. You see a boy and a girl. They tell you that they have been trapped in the cave for a day. They found a trap door but they can’t get it open. You start to go to the trap door. When you all pull on it opens. You slid through and you see a ladder. You climb up the ladder and you are out. You run home and tell your parents about your adventure.
