This is the classroom website of Mrs. Christine Host, Computer Education and Mathematics teacher at Cadillac Junior High School. This year I am teaching 8th Grade Pre-Algebra, 8th Grade Computer Literacy, and 9th Grade Beginning Computer and Web Applications.
To help students with their work in my classes, I try to provide information here at this website about projects and assignments, as well as links that may be useful for other school subjects.
I hope you find your visit helpful, whether you are a student, parent, or fellow educator! Your comments and suggestions are welcome and encouraged.
This site is intended to be used as a learning and teaching tool for students and staff at Cadillac Area Public Schools, as well as visitors from other schools.
Something new that I am experimenting with is a website called Haiku Learning Management System. This is an online resource where students and parents can view class announcements, schedule of events, and other important information. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in an online community, where we will discuss topics related to our classwork.

Greetings! This new school year is bringing with it plenty of changes. The new trimester scheduling is sure to keep students and staff alike on their toes! In addition, I have been given the opportunity to be the webmaster for the Cadillac Area Public Schools web site. I am looking forward to this new opportunity!
