HOW TO FORWARD YOUR GROUPWISE MAIL
TO
YOUR HOME E-MAIL ADDRESS
Now that all staff members communicate via Groupwise Mail, you may be wondering how to keep track of your Groupwise messages during the summer break. Here’s how you can set up Groupwise to forward a copy of your messages to your home e-mail address.
What you’ve done is set up a Groupwise rule that tells the program to forward your Groupwise Mail to another e-mail address. Groupwise will place a copy of the message in your Groupwise mailbox (as always) and forward a copy of the message to your home e-mail.
Now that the rule is set up, when you click on Rules in the future you’ll see the rule displayed. You will also note that the rule can be disabled and enabled, so from now on you can have your Groupwise mail forwarded at any time (like during Christmas break). When you want to “turn off” the forwarding, just disable the rule until the next time you want to activate the feature.
Note:
Please check with a member of the Tech Staff before changing any of the other
standard rule settings. Some rules cause problems. For example, the "Reply
to all" option will create a flood of reply mail into your box. No one
needs that to happen.
