Facilities

Camp Torenta is located on the north shore of Big Cove on the shoreline of beautiful Lake Mitchell, in Cadillac Michigan. This facility boasts hundreds of feet of shoreline utilized by campers and the community. The facilities on site include:

• A dining hall, equipped with cooking facilities and seating.
• A lodge, equipped with a ‘store’ and an area for games, music with a piano and a fireplace.
• The seasonal Cabins vary in size with single-wide bunk beds.
• The newer Restroom facility has men’s and women’s areas fully equipped with toilets, showers, sinks and mirrors.

Other amenities of the facility include:

• A swimming area with beach and dock.
• Fire pit and conversation area.
• A Basketball court and lakeside tennis court.
• A climbing wall.
• An open field for athletic camps and kickball.
• Various recreational equipment is also available.

Camp Torenta is available for private weekend rental for reunions and other special events. Please e-mail us for additional information and scheduling. With the addition of new buildings, our hope is to create a year-around facility.
